CONCRETE ROSE TO BE OFFERED AT KEENELAND NOVEMBER WITH LANE'S END

Lane’s End Farm will offer Concrete Rose, the premier American turf filly of her generation, at the upcoming Keeneland November Sale. With six wins from seven lifetime starts and $1,218,650 in earnings, the four-year-old filly is the leading performer to date by Lane’s End stallion Twirling Candy.

“Lane’s End proudly welcomes Grade 1 winner Concrete Rose back to our sale consignment, this time as a racing or broodmare prospect,” Lane’s End Director of Sales Allaire Ryan said. “Concrete Rose was previously sold by Lane’s End at Keeneland September in 2017 and from the start of her racing career has been a banner sale graduate for us and for our versatile resident stallion Twirling Candy.

“We are thrilled for the opportunity to highlight our Keeneland November consignment with a filly of her caliber,” Ryan added. “Her combined talent, looks and breeding will make her a sought-after prospect for any top-level program.”

The Ashbrook and BBN Racing color bearer won the G2 Jessamine S. at Keeneland as a juvenile and annexed the G3 Florida Oaks, G3 Edgewood, and the principal turf races for fillies in America—the G1 Belmont Oaks and Invitational S. And Saratoga Oaks Invitational S.—in succession as a three-year-old. “We have a very good relationship with Lane’s End that goes back years,” said Ashbrook’s Bo Bromagen.

“We have full confidence in them to showcase such a top-tier racing and broodmare prospect.”
