Frank’s Folly is a young black-type performer who is by a classic producing broodmare sire, and is half-sister to a top-class European two-year-old. She is offered in foal to the red-hot Into Mischief.

A winner in maiden special weight and allowance company – in races she took by 4½ lengths and 8¾ – Frank’s Folly earned black-type with a third in the $120,000 Weber City Miss Stakes.

Frank’s Folly is by Mineshaft, a Horse of the Year, and a son of A.P. Indy. The sire of such as Effinex, It’s Tricky, Dialed In, Discreetly Mine, Weep No More and Bond Holder – all grade one winners – Mineshaft is rapidly earning a reputation as an important broodmare sire. His daughters have already produced 27 stakes winners, among them the Kentucky Oaks (G1) heroine, Cathryn Sophia; the sensational undefeated graded stakes winner Catalina Cruiser; and other graded winners Enticed, Coal Front, Azar, Leave The Light On, My Boy Jack, Mico Margarita, Eagle, Miss Mo Mentum, Noble Beauty, Lookin For Eight and Once on Whiskey.

Frank’s Folly is half-sister to outstanding European juvenile, Seahenge, winner of the Champagne Stakes (G2) and placed in the Dewhurst Stakes (G1), and to the graded stakes placed Urban Bourbon, this trio being the first three foals of her dam, Fools in Love, who is also dam also of a yearling colt by Honor Code.

Fools in Love is herself a stakes winner and multiple stakes placed, and is by Not for Love, the broodmare sire of Horse of the Year California Chrome, like Frank’s Folly, by an A.P. Indy line stallion.

Fools in Love is a sister to to stakes winner D C Dancer, and three-quarters sister to International Star, a four-times graded stakes winner with earnings of over $1,200,000. Her dam, Parlez, is half-sister to the dam of graded stakes winner Shamal Nibras, stakes winning and graded stakes placed New Edition, and stakes winners Red Sashay and Karun. Parlez is out of Speak Halory, a half-sister to Blue Grass Stakes (G2) winning and multiple grade one placed Halory Hunter; group two winning and group one placed Van Nistelrooy; graded winners Prory, Key Lory and Brushed Halory; and to the dams of group and graded winners Gyllen and Stormalory. Speak Halory’s dam, Halory, is out of Cold Reply an outstanding tap-root mare in her own right, and three-quarters sister to Champion and Broodmare of the Year Fanfreluche.

This well-bred, stakes performing mare is offered carrying a foal from the first crop of Into Mischief. One of the fastest rising horses anywhere in the world, Into Mischief has already sired 43 stakes winners, including Goldencents, successful in the Santa Anita Derby (G1) and back-to-back renewals of the Breeders’ Dirt Cup Mile (G1), and now the Leading Freshman Sire of 2018; Practical Joke, winner of the Hopeful Stakes (G1), Champagne Stakes (G1) and H. Allen Jerkens Stakes (G1); Audible, who took the Florida Derby (G1), and ran third in the Kentucky Derby (G1) in 2018; as well as millionaires Vyjack and Vicar’s in Trouble, and other grade two winners Instagrand, Miss Sunset, Golden Mischief, Conquest Enforcer, Miss Mischief and Mia Mischief.
